Tehran (ISNA) – Commander of Iran’s Navy, Rear Admiral Hossein Khanzadi said the Islamic Republic will respond with the “most crushing reaction” in face of any “aggression or calculated mistake by enemies”.
“Today, we witness maritime parade of surface, subsurface and air units of Iran’s armed forces in the Persian Gulf waters,” Admiral Khanzadi said on Sunday.
He added, “During the parade, a number of equipment and weapons manufactured by Iran’s marine industry and Ministry of Defense have been displayed”.
The parade was aimed at showing Iran’s deterrence capabilities and sending the message of peace and friendship to the neighboring countries, according to the official.
“Iran’s defense power is on the highest possible level today and navy, air force and ground force of Iran’s Army and Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps (IRGC) are ready to defend maritime boundary,” Admiral Khanzadi noted, “Iran’s Navy along with other armed forces will respond with the most crushing reaction in the shortest possible time in face of any aggression and calculated mistake by enemies”.
