Tehran (ISNA) – The Carcassonne International Political Film Festival praised Iranian film “When the Moon Was Full” with three awards, including Best Film and Best Actress.
The film which is directed by Narges Abyar acquired jury award as the Best Film and Elnaz Shakerdoost was named Best Actress and won students jury award.
After participating in 23rd Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival in Estonia and winning the audience award at the event, the film was screened at 2nd Carcassonne International Political Film Festival in its Official Competition section.
“When the Moon Was Full” competed with six other feature films in the cinematic event which is founded by French-Greek film director Costa Gavras.
