TEHRAN, Jul. 23 (MNA) – Leader of the Islamic Revolution Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the second dose of Iranian-made coronavirus vaccine “COV-Iran Barakat” on Fri. morning.
According to the Leader’s Office, Ayatollah Seyyed Ali Khamenei received the second dose of ‘COV-Iran Barakat’ COVID-19 vaccine on Friday.
It should be noted that the Leader of the Islamic Revolution had received the first dose of a homegrown COVID-19 vaccine on Friday, June 25.
After receiving the second dose of homegrown COVID-19 vaccine, Leader of the Islamic Revolution expressed his satisfaction with the unsparing and unflinching efforts of medical staff throughout the country in the fight against the COVID-19, pandemic, especially scientists and researchers who made their utmost efforts in producing domestically-made COVID-19 vaccine and recommended all walks of life to observe health protocols and guidelines strictly in order to get rid of the disease.
Turning to the consecutive mutations of COVID-19 strains spread across the country and its hazardous effects, he once again called on all walks of life to strictly observe sanitary protocols.
If people accept the hardship of a complete observance of health guidelines, the disease will certainly be uprooted and damages will be prevented, the Leader stressed.
