Tehran (ISNA) – Iran will take the 3rd step of reducing its commitments under the 2015 nuclear deal, Iranian president’s deputy chief of staff for communications and information, Parviz Esmaeili said on Wednesday, citing President Rouhani.

“President Rouhani has said in a cabinet meeting on Wednesday that it is unlikely to reach an agreement with Europe in the few days left to the second deadline given to them to live up to their commitments to the 2015 Iran nuclear deal, officially known as the JCPOA,” he wrote on his official Twitter account.

“We will announce the third step which is of an extremely important nature, and will considerably accelerate the activities of the country’s nuclear energy organization. Europe has another two-month period for negotiations, agreement, and a return to its commitments,” he added.
