EghtesadOnline: Iran traded 76,689 tons of non-oil goods worth $33.23 million with Austria during the first Iranian month (March 21-April 20) to register a 381.28% and 124.12% growth in tonnage and value respectively compared with last year’s corresponding period, latest data released by the Islamic Republic of Iran Customs Administration show.

Austria was Iran’s 18th biggest trading partner during the month.

Iran’s exports to Austria stood at 180 tons worth $739,443 to register a 71.41% and 73.74% decline in tonnage and value respectively year-on-year.

Austria was Iran’s 47th export destination in the world, according to Financial Tribune.

Iran exported anti-serums, essential oil, dried grapes and watermelon to Austria during the period.

In exchange, Austria exported 76,509 tons of commodities worth $32.49 million to Iran, up by 399.89% and 170.51% in tonnage and value respectively YOY. Austria was the 12th exporter of goods to Iran during the period.

Iran mainly imported barley, field corn, paper, medical products and medicines from Austria.
