If Israel not restrained, US must face consequences for it: IRGC

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps (IRGC) has released further information following a series of missile and drone strikes on Israeli installations within the occupied territories.
The attacks which began Saturday night in response to the regime’s striking of Iran’s embassy in Damascus on April 1, has targeted multiple military sites across the occupied Palestinian lands.

Reports show that so far 50% of the fired missiles have hit their designated targets.
In its formal communication, the IRGC clarified the necessity for these offensive maneuvers due to the United Nations’ reluctance to admonish Israel for its brazen attack on Iran’s diplomatic premises as well as the regime’s previous aggressions.

The text of the IRGC statement reads as follows:
After more than 10 days of silence and negligence by international organizations, especially the United Nations Security Council, in condemning the aggression and crimes of the Zionist regime in the attack on the Iranian consulate in Damascus as part of our country’s soil and the martyrdom of 7 legal military advisors of the country, and the lack of punishment for the criminal regime under Article 7 of the UN Charter, the IRGC in response to these crimes and in realization of previous warnings and in securing Iran’s rights and in order to punish the aggressors, using its strategic intelligence, missile, and drone capabilities, successfully targeted important military targets of the Zionist terrorist army in occupied territories and destroyed them.

The Islamic Revolution Guard Corps, following the strategic policies of the Islamic Republic of Iran, declares:
۱. A warning is issued to the terrorist American government that any support and participation in striking Iran’s interests will result in a crushing and regretful response from the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran; also, America is responsible for the heinous actions of the Zionist regime, and if this regime is not restrained, it must accept the consequences for the child-killing regime in the region.

۲. While emphasizing the policy of good neighborliness with neighboring countries and regional countries, it is stated that any threat by the terrorist American government and the Zionist regime from any country will be met with a reciprocal and proportionate response from the Islamic Republic of Iran to the source of the threat.
We assure the heroic people of Iran that the IRGC and other armed forces of the country will stand up
