Seyyed Ammar Hakim, the leader of Iraq’s National Wisdom Movement, spoke at the Sulaymaniyah Forum and addressed Iran’s retaliatory action against the Zionist regime.
He stated that Iran had the right to respond and emphasized that their intention was not to escalate tensions but rather to defend themselves against the Zionist regime’s longstanding aggression.
Hakim highlighted Iran’s ability to breach the security wall of the Zionist regime, despite support from various countries for Tel Aviv. He also stressed Iraq’s commitment to supporting Palestine and called on the international community to intervene in the conflict in Gaza.
Regarding Iraqi groups, Hakim clarified that their military operations are aimed at protecting Iraq’s sovereignty and are not influenced by external forces. He reiterated his movement’s dedication to Iraq’s security, sovereignty, and independence. Discussing the end of the international coalition mission in Iraq, Hakim advocated for dialogue with international partners to ensure a smooth transition to bilateral relations.
The Iraqi politician underscored the importance of Iraq’s Strategic Framework Agreement with the United States and highlighted ongoing efforts to strengthen bilateral ties. Hakim concluded by urging for stability in Iraq as a crucial step towards progress and prosperity.
Iran exported more than 210,000 tons of fishery products worth $650 million to 67 different countries in the previous Iranian calendar year (ended on March 19), according to the head of Iran’s Fishery Organization (IFO).
An official at the agricultural organization of Mazandaran province said that 125,700 tons of the kiwi and citrus fruits have been exported from this northern province of Iran since the current Iranian calendar year started (March 20, 2024).
