“The plantable pencils which are also called green, environmental, or seed pencils, are designed as seeded capsules. Pencils are supposed to be planted in the soil when they are shortened,” he added.
Pointing to encouraging citizens to plant trees and culture-building practices to promote environmental preservation, stop cutting down trees, and conserving the nature, especially among children, teenagers, and students as the purpose of holding this program, he continued, “Besides the plantable pencils, some catalogs are given to citizens to get them familiarize with the methods of planting and taking care of plants. Developing the culture of using recycled materials is the other goal of implementing the plantable trees project.”Referring to the slogan of Isfahan municipality during the Tree Planting Week; “Every sapling; a hope”, he continued, “A celebration entitled “with nature till spring” is one of the programs of the citizenship culture development department of the cultural, social, and sport organization of Isfahan municipality which was held in the eastern iwan of Arg-e Jahan Nama, and plantable pencils were distributed among citizens in the program.”
